When Disaster Hits, We’re Ready to Help
Fire, smoke, and water restoration — one contractor from mitigation through final rebuild.
If you’re reading this page, you’re probably having or have had one of the worst days of your life. A fire. A burst pipe. Water where water shouldn’t be, or smoke in places that will never feel the same.
First, take a breath. We’ve walked families and business owners through this exact moment, and you’re going to be okay. Your home or property will be restored. The process is more manageable than it feels right now. And the choices you make in the next few hours and days — starting with who you call — will shape how the rest of it unfolds.
We built our restoration practice to be the partner you wish you’d had on speed dial before today.
Why the First Call Matters
In restoration, the first 24 to 48 hours shape everything. Water that sits turns into mold. Smoke that isn’t properly remediated settles into materials and causes odors that linger for years. A roof left open to the sky lets a bad situation get worse. The contractor you call first is the one who stops the damage from growing — and sets the tone for the entire claim.
Calling us first means:
- We respond fast. Local teams across every Texas market we serve mean we’re often on-site within hours, not days.
- We stop the damage from growing. Emergency board-up, tarping, water extraction, drying, and containment happen before the loss gets worse.
- We document everything. Including a Matterport 3D scan of the property as-is — forensic-quality evidence that protects your claim and your interests.
- We handle the whole thing. One contractor from mitigation through final rebuild. You don’t hand off to a restoration company and then hunt for a remodeler six weeks later.
- We work with your insurance. Direct communication with your adjuster, clean scoping, and documentation that holds up to review.
Restoration Services We Provide
Fire Damage Restoration
Structural fire damage, electrical fires, kitchen fires, and wildfire damage — from small contained losses to total rebuilds. We handle the structural work, the invisible damage behind walls, and the full reconstruction back to pre-loss condition or better. Where items can be saved, we coordinate cleaning and restoration; where they can’t, we document them for your claim.
Smoke and Soot Remediation
Smoke damage is the part of a fire loss that most people underestimate. Soot penetrates porous materials, settles into HVAC systems, and causes odors that seem to come back months after the fire is out. Proper remediation requires specialized equipment, chemistry, and experience. We handle source removal, HVAC decontamination, surface restoration, and ozone or hydroxyl treatment where needed — so your home smells like your home again, not like the fire.
Water Damage Restoration
Burst pipes, failed appliances, overflowing fixtures, roof leaks, slab leaks, sewage backups, and weather-driven intrusion. Water damage moves fast and hides in materials you can’t see — behind drywall, under flooring, inside wall cavities. We extract standing water immediately, use moisture meters to find water you can’t see, set up commercial drying equipment, and handle the reconstruction of affected areas. Proper drying is what prevents mold from turning a water claim into a much bigger problem.
Storm and Wind Damage
Texas weather doesn’t mess around. Hail, wind, tornadoes, hurricanes, and severe thunderstorms can damage roofs, siding, windows, fences, and structural elements in minutes. We respond fast to storm events, provide emergency tarping and board-up to prevent further damage, document the loss thoroughly, and handle the complete repair or replacement of damaged components.
Mold Remediation
Often, the aftermath of unaddressed water damage and mold requires careful remediation to protect your family’s health and prevent recurrence. We handle containment, removal, source correction (because mold always has a water cause that has to be addressed), and restoration of affected materials. We do this right, because doing it wrong makes it come back.
Contents Documentation and Pack-Out
For significant losses, we coordinate documentation, pack-out, storage, and restoration of personal property. Our Matterport 3D scan captures the scene before anything is moved — preserving evidence of what was where, in what condition, for insurance purposes.
What to Expect: Our Restoration Process
Most people have never been through a restoration. Knowing what’s coming takes away half the stress. Here’s how it unfolds from the moment you call.
Step 1: Emergency Response (Hours 0–2)
You call us. We dispatch the nearest available team and get basic details over the phone — what happened, where, and what’s still happening (is water still coming in? is the structure stable?). If the situation is immediately dangerous, we coordinate with emergency services. Otherwise, we’re on the way.
Step 2: Assessment and Documentation (Hours 2–8)
Once on-site, we conduct a full damage assessment and capture complete documentation — including a Matterport 3D scan of the property as-is, before anything is touched or moved. This documentation becomes the foundation of your claim and protects you against any later disputes about the extent of the loss.
Step 3: Mitigation and Stabilization (Hours 4–48)
We stop the damage from growing. Water extraction. Drying equipment deployed. Emergency board-up and tarping. Containment of smoke and soot. Securing the property against further loss. This is the single most important phase — because every hour matters in preventing a bad loss from becoming a worse one.
Step 4: Insurance Coordination (Days 1–7)
We work directly with your insurance carrier and adjuster. We walk the loss together where appropriate, provide detailed documentation (including the Matterport scan), and develop a scope of work that accurately reflects the damage. We don’t inflate scopes and we don’t chase supplements that aren’t warranted — we document what the claim actually is and make it easy for the carrier to approve.
Step 5: Reconstruction
Once the scope is approved and the claim is settled, we rebuild. The same construction standards, project management, and JobTread portal documentation we bring to any remodel apply to restoration work. You get daily progress photos, a live schedule, and full visibility throughout the rebuild. Your home isn’t getting “claim work” — it’s getting a proper remodel of the damaged portion of the property.
Step 6: Final Walkthrough and Move-Back
When the work is complete, we walk the project with you, complete every punch list item, verify the restoration to your satisfaction, and archive all project documentation permanently. If contents were packed out, they come back. If you were displaced, you come home.
What to Do Right Now If You’ve Had a Loss
If you’re reading this in the middle of an emergency, here’s what matters most in the next hour:
- Make sure everyone is safe. People first. Possessions second. Everything else third.
- Call your insurance company to report the loss. Starting the claim promptly is important for policy compliance.
- Call us. We’ll dispatch a team, stop the damage from growing, and start the documentation process. The sooner we’re on-site, the better the outcome.
- Do not throw anything away. Damaged items may need to be documented for your claim. We’ll help you sort this once we’re on-site.
- Take photos with your phone if you can do so safely. Any documentation you can capture before we arrive is helpful. We’ll supplement with professional documentation when we get there.
